With over 20 years of experience in creative direction and design, Joseph has extensive expertise leading advertising and branding efforts for iconic, global brands.

Joseph’s background is in Brand Design, and started out in London working as a member of the creative collective BCD (Sleazenation) and then at Spin Studio. In addition, he has considerable editorial experience, most notably working with It’s Nice That for several years on various publications. Most recently, Joseph held a dual role as a Creative Director and the Head of Design at Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam.

In the role of Head of Design, he oversaw the visual output of Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam across advertising and design specific projects. He was naturally also charged with the responsibility of employing and mentoring the design talent of the agency. He’s proudest of the work the design department did in rebranding several of Amsterdam’s major cultural institutions, including: Eye Film Museum and more recently Huis Marseille Photography Museum.

He’s an English European based in Amsterdam and spends half of his income on expanding his record collection and West German pottery archive.
